Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer has the overall responsibility for developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating the financial systems, financial best practices, and fiscal services of the Health Center.


Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the health facilities, equipment, safety, and improvement of the quality of care received by the patients.


Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine, Board-Certified)
Currently recruiting for full time providers interested in community health, population health, and individual health outcomes. CAHN has 6 locations in the City of Richmond, Henrico County and Chesterfield County. Must be Board-Certified.


Dentist (Full Time)
Currently recruiting for a full time dentist interested in community health. Responsible for performing professional dental services to all patient populations and providing high-quality dental care to our patients. DDS/DMS from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required.


Bi-Lingual Outreach and Enrollment Specialist (Part Time)
Knowledge of Qualified Health Plan (QHP) options, Medicaid, and CHIP and how to access the exchange, provide information about the full range of QHP. Assist individuals in the enrollment process into a QHP in the marketplace and insurance affordability programs, comply with privacy and security standards, complete training and pass all certification exams, and participate in outreach activities throughout various communities to raise awareness regarding the Affordable Care Act. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Bachelor’s degree is required. Must read and speak Spanish fluently.

Patient Service Representative (Full Time and Part Time)
Provides front-office support duties including, but not limited to, obtaining and updating current patient information from new and established patients, scanning documents appropriately, scheduling and confirming appointments, verifying insurances, collecting, and posting patient payments, and managing daily cash drawer. Must demonstrated knowledge of HIPPA and model the mission and core values of CAHN. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Medical office experience and prior knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) is preferred. Must demonstrate superior customer service skills and be detailed oriented.

Medical Call Center Team Lead (Full Time)
Responsible for the supervision and training of the Medical Call Center Team. Must ensure the highest level of Customer Service is performed by the team along with providing continued staff development and coaching. Candidate must possess the ability to work independently, provide excellent customer service and be able to multi-task to accomplish goals. High communication skills, creativity, patience and flexibility are a requirement for this position. Performs audits and provides analysis to identify trends and issues. Runs reports and ensure service level goals are met and exceeded. Medical office experience and prior knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) is preferred. Flexible schedule required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 2 years of supervisory experience required.


Call Center Representative (Part Time)
Nurtures the relationship between CAHN, its patients and the community by politely and effectively addressing the needs identified during each incoming telephone call. Call Center Representatives provide prompt, polite and effective customer service to each caller. This position is responsible for answering phone calls for Capital Area Health Network, specifically the medical department, scheduling appointments, leaving messages for providers and other staff members, responding to general inquiries and otherwise providing solutions to callers’ questions and concerns. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree highly desirable). Ability to speak Spanish fluently is a plus.

Transportation Driver (Part Time)
Drive company vehicles to transport patients to/from appointments at various locations. Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure passengers follow safety regulations. Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting the vehicle. Communicate with front office staff by telephone regarding transportation request and/or changes. Inspect vehicle equipment daily for proper operation, i.e. headlights, brakes, horn, windshield wipers. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years related driving experience. Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a background check, and drug screening.


Hygienist (Full Time)
Perform patient screening procedures such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse, take x-rays, remove calculus and plaque, apply preventive materials, educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene and related nutrition habits to increase and maintain oral health, chart all documentation, and all related duties. Graduate from an accredited program approved but the American Dental Association, successful completion of Dental Hygiene National Board, ccompletion of the SRTA exam, licensed through the Virginia Board of Dentistry.


Maintenance (Part Time)
Responsible for the cleanliness of all facilities and surrounding grounds daily as assigned, move and/or arrange furniture and office equipment as needed, prepare written material to support activities performed, respond to emergency situations at all locations, transport tools and supplies as needed, ensure a safe environment at all facilities. Perform other related general maintenance duties as assigned. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license and able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Related experience a plus.


Certified Medical Assistant (Part Time)
Responsible for providing patient care support and assist providers as instructed and per the CAHN’s guidelines. Responsible for performing medical assisting functions per agency guidelines. Duties will also include scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring appointments where necessary, and to also include conducting follow-up telephone calls.
