National Health Center Week 2019

Help CAHN celebrate National Health Center Week!

Capital Area Health Network has been ‘The Heart of the Community’ since 1998. CAHN’s mission is to provide effective, accessible and culturally responsive patient care, education and advocacy that promote health and quality of life for all residents in Metropolitan Richmond.

National Health Center Week (August 3rd-10th) is an annual celebration with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. The following outlines CAHN’s schedule of activities to celebrate NHCW.

We invite you to join one or more of the events as your schedule allows:

Come check out our Mobile Unit located at St. Luke Apartments. Residents  and the surrounding communities are invited to enjoy some free food and festivities to include medical/dental screenings and dental cleanings. Backpacks with hygiene products available while supplies last.

Find our mobile unit located in the heart of downtown, near Lombardy and Board Street. Residents who need immediate access to care can receive health and dental screenings. Hygiene products will be distributed while supplies last.

Capital Area Health Networks takes a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the work the members of the Board do to make CAHN what it is today.

Come to one of our seven locations and visit the appreciation table loaded with snacks and information regarding the services we offer at CAHN. While you are there, don’t forget to make an appointment with one of our providers!

Capital Area Health Network invites local politicians and pillars of the community to our corporate office to showcase the good work we do for our patients and the community.

Capital Area Health Network takes the time to thank the staff for all of their hard work and dedication. Staff with several years of service will be identified and  presented with an award.

Capital Area Health Network partners with the Richmond Public Schools’ Head Start Program at our Northside Location. Children invited by Richmond Public Schools will have the opportunity to receive medical and dental screenings while visiting vendors in preparation for the 2019-20 school year.
