Seleste Upshaw is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and native of Richmond, Virginia. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing at Chamberlain University and graduated with honors as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. For over ten years, she has worked in the Richmond, Baltimore, and Lynchburg area as a nurse in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Mental Health . She completed her Masters in Nursing at Chamberlain University earning a degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. She has held positions on the local level of the Virginia Councils of Nurse Practitioners and Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated She is an active member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Nurses Association. She has a passion for Education and Community Health and is excited to bring her passion for medicine and patient education to Capital Area Health Network. In her spare time, she enjoys seeing the latest movies and volunteering in her community.
