Diana was raised in Colombia and Costa Rica before relocating to the United States in 2007. She earned her B.S. in Biology from LSU and her Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Maryville University in 2023 and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. From 2016 to 2023, Diana worked as an emergency department nurse nationwide and settled in Richmond in 2021 while working at VCU. She is fluent in Spanish and passionate about serving Richmond’s communities. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, soccer, visiting Costa Rica, and caring for her Yorkie, Sussie May.
