Henderson Health Center
Henderson Health Services center opened in 2018 and is located on the campus of Virginia Union University. Virginia Union is a private historically black Baptist university with a student population of over 1,100. Established in 1865, the campus sits in an urban community located in the heart of Richmond. Capital Area Health Network formed an exclusive partnership with the university, opening a satellite location to provide care to the student population, alumni, and the surrounding community.
The health and well-being of students is a top priority. A health center on campus provides a protective environment and gives students a healthy advantage to be successful in their pursuit of higher education. While the focus of the health center is to treat medical issues, the health center also manages chronic conditions and promotes healthy habits.
All insurances are accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare, and a sliding fee scale program is offered to those who are uninsured or encountering an economic hardship to help minimize cost. Thank you for choosing Henderson Health Services for your healthcare needs.
